DC Court Lets False ‘Extra Virgin’ Oil Claims Proceed

Law360, San Diego (November 14, 2013, 10:45 PM EST) -- A District of Columbia court on Tuesday allowed some claims to move forward in consumer litigation alleging several grocery stores violated the district’s Consumer Protection Procedures Act by misrepresenting certain brands of olive oil as “extra virgin.”
