Man Gets 3 Years For Role In Illegal Chinese Honey Imports

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 4:24 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge sentenced the operator of a U.S.-based honey broker to three years in federal prison for his role in a scheme to evade nearly $38 million in tariffs on imports of Chinese honey into the U.S., the U.S. Department of Justice announced Thursday.
