Ore. Appeals Court Gives Tribal Gaming Pact A Thumbs Up

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 6:34 PM EST) -- The Oregon appellate court on Thursday gave its stamp of approval for a gaming compact inked by the governor and the state for a Class III casino and hotel complex, ruling that the governor did not break state or federal laws with the deal and did not need state legislators approvals to sign the compact.
