Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Buys Burton's Biscuits

Law360, New York (November 18, 2013, 2:52 PM EST) -- The Ontario Teachers Pension Plan is buying a majority stake in British-based Burton's Biscuit Company from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Apollo Global Management Affiliates for an undisclosed amount, the fund said Monday.

The plan won the deal in a competitive bidding process with more than 30 prospective buyers, Burton's said, which included private equity firms and trade companies.
