CareFusion Pays GE $500M For Medical Disposables Biz

Law360, New York (November 18, 2013, 7:44 PM EST) -- CareFusion Corp. has agreed to buy respiratory care business Vital Signs Devices from GE Healthcare Ltd. for $500 million, the companies said Monday.

The deal broadens CareFusion's reach into the medical disposables business, which offers products like oxygen circuits, face masks and filters. It will also allow CareFusion to build its international presence, the company said, noting that a third of its revenue is made overseas.
