Claims Against BP For Texas City Blast Exceed $2B

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- BP Plc has set aside $2.13 billion to settle civil claims arising from a fatal explosion at its Texas City, Texas, refinery in 2005, marking a significant increase from the $1.6 billion the company had previously disclosed.
