NJ Lawmaker To Float Bill Allowing Foreign Online Gambling

Law360, New York (November 21, 2013, 9:32 PM EST) -- A New Jersey lawmaker announced on Thursday his plans to introduce legislation that would expand the reach of the state’s newly legalized Internet gambling, by authorizing New Jersey’s gaming regulator to allow foreign gamblers to play in Atlantic City’s virtual casinos.

State Sen. Raymond Lesniak, D-Union, made the announcement in a press conference convened on the same day Atlantic City casinos soft-launched Internet gaming, an industry Lesniak has long championed as a source of revenue and job creation.
