Airborne Settles False-Ad Class Action For $23M

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Airborne Health Inc. once boasted in advertisements that its products were a “miracle cold buster." Those days are over, now that the company has agreed to pay $23.3 million to settle a class action over false advertising.

The settlement fund will pay for refunds for consumers who purchased its products, which contain herbal extracts, antioxidants and amino acids. The class action was filed in June in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
