Microsoft's Top Antitrust Spokesman Jumps To Apple

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The public affairs specialist who took charge of Microsoft Corp.'s antitrust wrangle with the European Commission has reportedly crossed to the other side, joining the media team behind top rival Apple Inc.

Tom Brookes left his post as a Brussels-based partner for the consultancy firm G-Plus Europe just a week after the company was slapped with a whopping $1.4 billion fine from the EC, IDG News Service reported on Tuesday, citing anonymous sources.

Representatives for G-Plus and Apple could not be reached for comment.
