Calpine Hit With $200M In Compensation Requests

Law360, New York (March 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Several law firms, consultants and other professionals that worked on Calpine Corp.'s bankruptcy have requested final compensation amounts totaling more than $200 million for their work on the company's reorganization, one of the 10 largest Chapter 11 cases in history.

A handful of companies retained by the debtors on Tuesday filed final applications for final professional compensation in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
