Microsoft Accuses Acacia Of Violating Licensing Deal

Microsoft's complaint was filed under seal, making the details of the company's allegations unavailable, but Reuters reported Wednesday that the suit stemmed from a 2010 deal in which Microsoft agreed to pay an Acacia subsidiary to license a portfolio of patents owned by the Japanese firm Access Co.
