Mo. Rep. Seeks To Impeach Gov. Over Same-Sex Tax Returns

Law360, New York (November 22, 2013, 7:54 PM EST) -- Missouri state rep. Nick Marshall said last week he will seek the impeachment of Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon for signing an executive order that recognized same-sex marriages for state income tax filing purposes, even though the state constitution doesn't recognize such marriages.

Marshall, who announced his intentions on Facebook, is opposing Nixon’s decision from last week to follow federal standards.
