Judge OKs Sale Of 150 Fresh & Easy Stores To Yucaipa Units

Law360, Wilmington (November 22, 2013, 7:24 PM ET) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge gave the OK on Friday to high-end grocery chain Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market Inc.'s sale of 150 stores to units of private equity firm Yucaipa Cos. LLC, in a deal financed with a $120 million loan by the debtor's British parent, Tesco PLC.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey gave the nod after hearing that several minor objections to the sale, many coming from leaseholders at individual locations, had been resolved before the matter came before the court for consideration....
