Cos. Spend 268 Hours A Year Prepping Taxes, Report Finds

Law360, New York (November 22, 2013, 3:09 PM EST) -- Companies throughout the world spend an average of 268 hours — almost seven workweeks — preparing and paying taxes every year, according to a joint report released Friday by PriceWaterhouse Coopers and the World Bank.

The study looked at nine years of historical tax data in hundreds of countries across the globe to provide context for a global tax reform debate, pointing out winners and losers in the race to effectively tax the globalizing economy.
