47 Lawmakers Call For Land Tax Reimbursement Extension

Law360, New York (November 22, 2013, 3:32 PM EST) -- A bipartisan group of lawmakers urged the Budget Conference Committee on Thursday to prioritize funding for a federal program that gives money to local governments that have large tracts of un-taxable federal lands, saying the money keeps education and other essential services running.
