Bankrupt Dreier's Creditors File 6 Suits Over Unpaid Bills

Law360, Los Angeles (November 22, 2013, 10:46 PM ET) -- The unsecured creditors’ committee of defunct law firm Dreier LLP filed six adversary suits in New York bankruptcy court Friday, in an attempt to claim some $426,000 in unpaid bills for legal services performed while the firm was still afloat.

In a flurry of filings Friday evening, the creditors filed six near-identical adversarial suits against former clients that, the creditors alleged, didn’t pay the bills for legal services the firm’s lawyers performed.
