Lockheed Lands $105M For US Military Satellite Care

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 1:30 PM EST) -- Lockheed Martin Corp. clinched a $105 million contract modification to continue supporting the operation and maintenance of Milstar and the Defense Satellite Communications System, two pivotal aspects of the U.S. military's in-field communications, the U.S. Department of Defense said Friday.

The modification exercises a fourth option year in a contract with MILSATCOM Orbital Operations and Logistics Sustainment Support. The work will take place in Sunnyvale, Calif., according to the Pentagon.
