Phony Doctor Sentenced In $19M NJ Medicare Fraud Scheme

Law360, New York (November 26, 2013, 8:28 PM ET) -- A New Jersey man was sentenced on Tuesday to eight months of house arrest and more than half a million dollars in restitution for his role in a $19 million Medicare fraud scheme, in which he impersonated a physician, examining patients and issuing fraudulent bills for their care.
