Summit Utilities Plans $110M Natural Gas Expansion

Law360, New York (November 26, 2013, 4:51 PM EST) -- Summit Utilities Inc.'s Maine natural gas utility said Tuesday that it would spend an additional $110 million in 2014 to expand its natural gas service and infrastructure in rural or underserved portions of the state.

Summit Natural Gas of Maine Inc. said the money would go toward expanding natural gas service to the towns of Cumberland, Falmouth and Yarmouth, as well as fund the second phase of its $350 million natural gas transmission and distribution project in Maine's Kennebec Valley, further expanding its reach.
