Ex-Honeywell Officer Banned From Arms Export Activities

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 3:21 PM EST) -- A former Honeywell International Inc. senior compliance officer has been barred from working in any activities that are subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations, after she violated weapons export laws on multiple occasions while at the conglomerate, the U.S. Department of State said Wednesday.

The State Department said Honeywell voluntarily reported numerous ITAR violations carried out by LeAnne Lesmeister, while she was its senior export compliance officer in Clearwater, Fla., between 2008 and 2012.
