Partner Not A Third Party Under Policy, Wash. Supremes Say

Law360, Chicago (November 27, 2013, 7:57 PM ET) -- The Washington Supreme Court upheld a decision denying insurance coverage to a welder for injuries he suffered while working as an independent contractor for Northland Services Inc., rejecting Wednesday the welder’s position that he qualifies as a third party under a policy issued to his general partnership.
