Planet Wings Employees In NY Sue For Overtime

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 4:54 PM ET) -- Employees of chicken wing chain Planet Wings Inc. recently launched a putative class action in New York federal court, alleging the restaurant failed to pay overtime and spread-of-hours wages.

Lead plaintiff Mario Rodriguez sued the restaurant chain, its parent company and owner Franco Fidanza on Nov. 22 for violating the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law by failing to pay employees at a Middletown, N.Y., location overtime despite requiring them to work more than 40 hours per week at more than 10 hours...
