9th Circ. To Live Stream En Banc Hearings

Law360, Los Angeles (December 2, 2013, 9:50 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit on Monday announced it would provide live video streaming of some of its cases starting this month, a service that is believed to be the first of its kind among the federal appellate courts. 

The Ninth Circuit, the busiest federal appellate court, said it plans to provide live video streaming of its en banc proceedings, beginning with five cases scheduled for oral arguments from Dec. 9-11 in San Francisco's James R. Browning U.S. Courthouse. The broadcasts will be available through the court's website. ...
