Federal Privacy Board Looking To Hire Atty Advisers

Law360, New York (December 6, 2013, 7:58 PM EST) -- The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board on Thursday put out a call for attorneys to assist the newly revived board on cutting-edge issues that accompany its task of providing a check on the government's surveillance and counterterrorism efforts.

In an online job posting, the board announced that it was seeking to hire “a number” of full-time attorney-advisers to aid the five-member board in carrying out its oversight of the government's methods for collecting, using and sharing data to combat national security threats.
