WHD Nominee Touts Level Playing Field For Law-Abiding Cos.

Law360, New York (December 10, 2013, 6:36 PM ET) -- The business school professor President Barack Obama nominated in September to head the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division told Senate lawmakers Tuesday that making sure employers who disregard the law don't gain an unfair competitive advantage would be among his priorities.

Dr. David Weil, who appeared before the Senate Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee, is a professor at the Boston University School of Management and also serves as a co-director of the Transparency Policy Project at the Harvard Kennedy School.
