SEC Sues Certified Services CEO Over $30M Scheme

Law360, New York (March 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has accused former executives of human resources services company Certified Services Inc. of being part of a scheme to siphon off about $30 million from the company's coffers.

The SEC's complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleges financial fraud on the part of several defendants, including former Certified CEO Danny L. Pixler, former Chief Financial Officer Anthony R. Russo and board member Otha Ray McCartha.
