Government Seeks To Quash Abbott Subpoenas

Law360, New York (March 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. government asked a judge on Thursday to quash Abbott Laboratories Inc.'s subpoenas of two government employees in an action against major drug companies over an alleged Medicare scam, saying that Abbott was looking for confidential and irrelevant information.
