Calif. Appeals Court Upholds San Francisco Plastic Bag Ban

Law360, Los Angeles (December 11, 2013, 9:19 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday affirmed a lower court's judgment in favor of the city of San Francisco in a suit seeking to block its ordinance that expanded existing restrictions on the use of plastic “checkout bags” by retail establishments in the city.
