Paid Family And Medical Insurance Leave Act Introduced

Law360, New York (December 12, 2013, 5:00 PM ET) -- Democratic lawmakers introduced legislation in both chambers of Congress on Thursday that would create a national paid family and medical insurance leave program.

The Family and Medical Insurance Leave Act, introduced by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., and Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., would establish a paid family and medical leave insurance program funded by employee and employer contributions.
