House Presses Meat Co. Exec On Recall Details

Members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee were relentless in their questioning of Steve E. Mendell, the company president, as they tried to find out how and when he learned of the possibility that so-called downer cows from his meat plant had illegally been sent to the food market.
