Norway's Stokke Agrees To Buyout By S. Korean Investor

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 5:54 PM EST) -- Norwegian children's products manufacturer Stokke AS has agreed to its acquisition by the Belgian subsidiary of South Korean investment company NXC Corp. for an undisclosed amount, the companies said Friday.

Stokke's goods include strollers, children's furniture and other everyday products made for children. With the company being family-owned since 1932, this deal represents the first sale of Stokke to an outside investor. Stokke's board said the deal with NXMH BVBA, NXC's global investment arm, will help the company grow at a greater level in the future....
