Singapore Mulls Buying In-Development F-35Bs From US

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 6:27 PM EST) -- Singapore is considering buying a variant of the in-development F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the country's defense minister said in a Thursday press conference with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.

The F-35 program is the DOD's most expensive procurement, and the U.S. is relying on international partnerships and foreign sales to offset its investment in an expensive mix of next-generation technology.
