Lockheed's ERISA Class Cert. Appeal Nixed By High Court

Law360, New York (December 16, 2013, 2:43 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to hear Lockheed Martin Corp.'s appeal of the Seventh Circuit's decision to grant class certification to Lockheed retirement plan participants who allege the company caused $293 million in plan losses, allowing the suit to proceed to the trial stage.

The high court denied certiorari in its weekly order list and did not comment on its decision.
