EPA Targets Chevron Over Calif. Refinery Fire

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 5:37 PM EST) -- Chevron Corp. faces its first federal regulatory action over the August 2012 explosion at its Richmond facility after U.S. environmental regulators said Tuesday that their investigation showed the energy giant “repeatedly” failed to comply with its own rules to limit chemical risks.
