Lehman, Kodak Bankruptcy Judges To Retire In 2014

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 5:13 PM ET) -- Two veteran U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York judges will retire in 2014, one of whom presided over the unprecedented Lehman Brothers bankruptcy and the other whom oversaw the Eastman Kodak Co. Chapter 11 case, according to a statement released Tuesday.

Chief Bankruptcy Judge Cecelia G. Morris lauded the work of both U.S. Bankruptcy Judges James M. Peck and Allan L. Gropper. Both vacancies will be filled, according to a statement from the court.
