BP Defends 11th-Hour Renege On $2.7M Deepwater Deal

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 5:37 PM EST) -- BP PLC urged a Louisiana federal judge on Monday to throw out a Tidewater Inc. seaman's $2.7 million settlement claim for trauma from rescuing survivors of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion, arguing an extended offer wasn't ever finalized.
