Appeals Court Reaffirms $82M Award In Ford Case

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A California appeals court decided Monday to stick with its earlier decision that awarded $82.6 million in damages to a woman who was paralyzed by a Ford Explorer rollover accident.

The California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, reviewed the case after the U.S. Supreme Court said in 2007 that it should reconsider in light of the high court's decision that same year in Philip Morris v. Williams.
