Pa. Auditor General Joins Calls For Higher Minimum Wage

Law360, New York (December 19, 2013, 7:15 PM ET) -- Pennsylvania's fiscal watchdog Eugene DePasquale called Wednesday for the Keystone State to raise its minimum wage, saying the move would benefit the state's economy as well as its workers and echoing Democratic state lawmakers who have recently advocated an increase.

DePasquale, a Democrat who took over as state auditor general in January, previously served for six years in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he had the distinction of being the first legislator to post his expenses online.
