Target Breach Will Push Industry, Congress To Act In 2014

Law360, New York (December 19, 2013, 9:22 PM ET) -- Target Corp. said Thursday that a recent data breach compromised more than 40 million of its customers' credit and debit cards, a massive intrusion that demonstrates the growing sophistication of hackers and the need for companies and lawmakers to work to bolster defense and response mechanisms in 2014, attorneys say.
