Blitz, Wal-Mart Close In On $162M Deal In Gas Can Litigation

Law360, Chicago (December 20, 2013, 3:21 PM ET) -- Bankrupt Blitz USA Inc. and its former top customer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc., have won peace in sprawling personal injury litigation over the defunct company’s gasoline containers after several plaintiffs agreed to ditch their objections to a nearly $162 million settlement, according to court documents filed Wednesday in Delaware.
