ITC Says Nokia, Huawei, ZTE Didn't Infinge InterDigital Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (December 19, 2013, 10:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday affirmed a judge's initial determination that Nokia Corp., Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and ZTE Corp. didn't violate the Tariff Act of 1930 with respect to InterDigital Communications Inc.'s patents covering third-generation wireless devices.

The commission affirmed, with modifications, Administrative Law Judge David P. Shaw's June finding that the wireless device makers did not infringe seven of InterDigital's patents and that some of the asserted claims were invalid.
