Ex-AIG Exec Says Prosecutor Lied In Court To Prolong Case

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 6:30 PM ET) -- Former American International Group Inc. executive Maurice "Hank" Greenberg has complained to New York's Joint Commission on Public Ethics that a state prosecutor lied in court about Greenberg's intentions to take his private insurance business public, according to Friday reports.

According to Greenberg's complaint, Assistant Attorney General David Ellenhorn told the court that Greenberg wants to take his private insurance business Starr Cos. public, the Associated Press reported. Greenberg included an affidavit with the complaint, saying that he intends to do no such thing.
