White House Picks McCabe To Head EPA Air Office

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 2:46 PM ET) -- The White House selected a new Office of Air and Radiation chief for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Friday, nominating acting assistant administrator Janet McCabe to fill the position last held by current agency head Gina McCarthy.

McCabe has been running the office in an interim role since McCarthy took over the agency earlier this year, and had previously served as McCarthy's top deputy since joining the EPA in November 2009.
