Bickel Belongs Back In $60M Suit, Texas High Court Hears

Law360, Dallas (December 20, 2013, 4:03 PM ET) -- Bickel & Brewer LLP on Wednesday urged the Texas Supreme Court to reinstate the firm as counsel for a lead smelter in $60 million contract litigation with a Chilean metal manufacturer, arguing it was wrongly ousted after the manufacturer claimed the firm had bribed one of its former employees.

In a brief to the court, the firm says the Texas justices should take the case because it provides an opportunity to issue “needed guidance about the permissible parameters of informal discovery.”
