Roberts Calls On Ghosts, Angels In Plea For Court Funding

Roberts Jr. summoned Charles Dickens’ Ghost of Christmas Past and the guardian angel from Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” in his annual report on the judiciary system on Tuesday, pleading with Congress to shield the judiciary branch from further cuts as it ekes out federal spending for the year.
