Tax Reform Not About Punishing Businesses: OECD Head

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 11:55 AM EST) -- Global tax reform is about creating predictability, not attacking businesses, an Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development leader said in a report published Thursday.

A tax scheme where corporations cannot avoid their tax burdens actually helps businesses along with individual taxpayers and governments, Pascal Saint-Amans, director of the Center for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD, wrote in an op-ed published by the Huffington Post.
