Ex-NFL Players Hit Cardinals With Concussion Suit

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 5:38 PM EST) -- Four former football players have filed a lawsuit against the Arizona Cardinals in Missouri state court, accusing the NFL team itself of ignoring warnings about the potential neurological damage from concussions sustained during play.

The retired players who played for the Cardinals when the franchise was located in St. Louis, Mo., alleged in the Dec. 31 suit that the team's negligence and wrongful conduct caused the players to develop a collection of neurological problems, including post-concussion syndrome and traumatic brain injuries, such as chronic traumatic encephalopathy....
