Aussie EPA Approves Growth of Chevron's $54B LNG Project

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 3:34 PM EST) -- Australia's Environmental Protection Agency on Monday recommended the conditional approval of Chevron Corp.'s proposal to increase the footprint of its massive Gorgon Gas Development project by 32 hectares (3.44 million square feet).

Chevron had asked the EPA to approve a 32 hectare increase — from 300 hectares to 332 hectares — in the land involved in its $54 billion Gorgon Gas Development project.
