DOJ Summons Qantas In Airline Cartel Probe

Law360, New York (March 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A number of senior Qantas Airways Ltd. employers have reportedly been ordered to appear before U.S. investigators as part of an ongoing probe into price-fixing among international airlines.

Qantas agreed to cooperate with the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI in its pursuit of other airlines as part of a deal to settle charges connected to its involvement in the worldwide air shipping cartel.
