Honeywell Sheds Brake Parts Business In $155M Sale

Law360, New York (January 7, 2014, 4:02 PM EST) -- In an effort to consolidate its business focus, Honeywell International Inc. has agreed to a definitive deal to sell its braking components business to vehicle manufacturer products supplier Federal-Mogul Corp. for $155 million, the companies said Tuesday.

In the deal, Federal-Mogul will acquire Honeywell Friction Materials, headquartered in Germany, which manufactures disc brake pads and braking system components for equipment makers and for aftermarket sale for cars, light trucks, commercial vehicles, and railway and industrial applications.
